Tuition for a Secondary School Student
With this gift you support the efforts of exceptional secondary school students, who otherwise would not be able to continue their education.
During the 2014-2015 school years, 37 Ghanaian and Kenyan teens went to secondary- or vocational school thanks to Mondo’s Brilliant Fund. The average support money per child was €50 per semester. Burmese and Afghan school students also get supported with financial means of the Brilliant Fund. Individuals, businesses, and schools donate into the Brilliant Fund.
Agnes from northern Ghana studies under the hard science curriculum at the Bolga Secondary School for Girls and wants to become a nurse. She is the best student in her class and also a grantee of the Brilliant Fund for the second year in a row. She was awarded €65 to pay her school tuition for the 2014/15 school year, of which the majority was collected by students of the Kohtla-Järve Ahtme Gymnasium by selling tickets to a charity raffle.
